Objectives of online advertising in Italy 2018-2019, by format
In the two-years 2018 and 2019, video online advertising played an important role for companies branding and awareness strategy. According to the source, increase in awareness was pursued in 92 percent of the video ads, while other objectives such as consideration and conversion were chased only in 62 and 52 percent of the case, respectively. On the other hand, banners had a central role for the conversion of the consumers, as 92 percent of the companies interviewed used banners with this purpose.
