In 2021, construction projects in Africa were valued at a total of 521 billion U.S. dollars. That same year, the continent counted 462 infrastructure and capital projects. Overall, the total value of projects in the construction sector rose roughly 31 percent, from 399 billion U.S. dollars in 2020.
