Distribution of the value home furnishing textile products imported into Italy 2013-2018

In 2018, Asia accounted for 40.7 percent of the total value of home furnishing textile products imported into Italy. According to the data provided by Prometeia, this was a significant increase compared to 2013, when Asian countries represented 33.5 percent of the total value of furnishing textile products imports. Over the same period, the import value of furnishing textile products from Western Europe decreased sharply, going from 38.4 percent in 2013 to 32.6 percent in 2018.
