The statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted in November 2012 by A.T. Kearney concerning the amount extra a U.S. shopper is willing to pay for local food. The survey was conducted online among 1,300 men and women 18 years and older. Some 8 percent of respondents said the local product would need to be cheaper for them to purchase it over the standard product.
