A survey conducted in the fourth quarter of 2022 among Australian consumers revealed that many shoppers are buying in bulk in the wake of inflating prices, with around 71 percent of respondents reporting bulk-buying essential items to save money. Another way shoppers are attempting to save money is by buying holiday and birthday gifts in advance when items are at a lower price, with over two-fifths of those surveyed doing so.
