Understanding of climate change in African countries 2016-2018
In a study conducted between 2016 and 2018, six out of 10 Africans declared to have heard about climate change before. On the contrary, 40 percent of respondents were not familiar with the term. For 63 percent of respondents who had heard about it, climate change meant negative changes in the weather, while 17 percent of them thought that it would have brought positive changes to the weather conditions.
