Blackjack is a widely-known card game, also played in casinos, in which the ultimate goal is to beat the dealer by getting a count as close to 21 as possible, without going over 21. As with all games, players typically need elements of both skill and luck. However, some games are known for needing more skill than others. In a 2020 survey conducted by YouGov, 44 percent of respondents in the United States stated that blackjack was a game of luck rather than skill. In contrast, 35 percent of respondents believed that blackjack was a game of skill.
