Public opinion on national emergency declaration for border wall by party U.S. 2019
This statistic shows public opinion on the national emergency declaration on the U.S. southern border in order to pay for a border wall in 2019, by political affiliation. During the survey, 73 percent of respondents identifying as Democrats strongly disapproved of the national emergency declaration, compared to 40 percent of independents and nine percent of Republicans.
